Warranty
Please inspect all products immediately upon delivery. Any visible damage or discrepancy should be reported within the applicable return window.
DECIBELUS LLP (“Decibelus”) warrants that its acoustic products shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary indoor use and conditions consistent with the product specifications and intended application for a period of one (1) to three (3) years, depending on the specific product, from the date of delivery or purchase (the “Warranty Period”). The specific warranty period applicable to each product shall be clearly specified at the time of purchase, including in the product description, invoice, or order confirmation. This warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy available to the customer with respect to product defects, subject to applicable law.
1. Warranty Claims Process
- In the event of a suspected defect:
- The customer must notify Decibelus within the Warranty Period by contacting Info@deciblus.in
- The customer may be required to provide:
- Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)
- Photographs or videos clearly demonstrating the defect
- A description of the issue
Decibelus may, at its discretion, request return of the product for inspection. Where applicable, return instructions will be provided.
2. Return Conditions
- Where a return is approved:
- The product must be returned in original packaging or packaging affording equivalent protection
- The return must be initiated within the timeline communicated by Decibelus
- Return shipping and insurance costs shall be borne by Decibelus only where the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect
Decibelus shall not be responsible for loss or damage during return transit where such return is not arranged by Decibelus.
3. Remedies
- Upon verification of a manufacturing defect, Decibelus shall, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product; or
- Replace the product; or
- Where the product is no longer available, provide a substitute product of comparable performance and value
The remedies set out above shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, subject to applicable law.
4. Scope and Limitations
- This warranty:
- Applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable
- Covers manufacturing defects only
- Does not cover normal wear and tear
5. Exclusions
- This warranty does not apply to damage or defects arising from:
- Improper or incorrect installation
- Use not in accordance with instructions or intended purpose
- Mishandling, abuse, or misuse
- Exposure to adverse environmental conditions including, but not limited to, excessive humidity, heat, sunlight (UV exposure), dust, or smoke
- Damage during transportation, storage, or third-party handling after delivery
- Modifications, alterations, or unauthorized repairs
6. Product Characteristics and Variations
- Due to the nature of materials used:
- Minor variations in color, texture, or finish may occur between batches or over time
- Fabric, foam, or surface materials may exhibit changes in appearance due to environmental exposure and aging
Such variations are inherent to the product and shall not be considered as manufacturing defects.
7. Installation and Use
- The performance and safety of the product depend on proper installation and use.
- Decibelus does not guarantee performance where installation is not carried out as recommended
- Customers are responsible for ensuring suitability of the product for their specific application
8. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Decibelus shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of use, business, revenue, or opportunity
Nothing in this warranty shall exclude or limit any rights available to consumers under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
9. Governing Law
- This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
We treat acoustics as an essential part of architecture — not an accessory. Sound, structure, and design must work as one. Every project is engineered to perform in the real world, not just on paper.
